Business Consultation for Psychiatric Practitioners
Starting and running a successful psychiatric private practice can be challenging, but with the right guidance, it is achievable. As the owner of Resonance Mental Health, Brianna Boulanger, PMHNP-BC offers comprehensive business consultation services for psychiatric practitioners or therapists looking to establish or enhance their private practice. Having successfully launched her own practice before the age of 30 and overcoming significant barriers such as billing issues, she can provide valuable insights and advice. Her business has been thriving for three years, demonstrating her ability to create a profitable and efficient practice.
She provide assistance with creating business plans, navigating the initial setup, troubleshooting billing issues, and offering marketing and website tips. Additionally, she can guide you on selecting an EHR system, finding HIPAA-compliant email and phone services, and ensuring your practice operates smoothly and efficiently. Her experience also extends to hiring and managing employees, payroll, legal matters, and conflict resolution with patients. Bri even drafted my own legal paperwork, ensuring compliance and smooth operations. Her consultation rate is $120 an hour, and it is a cash service designed to help you achieve your practice goals effectively. Her goal is to keep costs low, but provide you with quality service for her time so that your business can flourish.
Nurse Practitioner Supervision
Navigating complex cases and challenging patient situations can be daunting for nurse practitioners. At Resonance Mental Health, Bri offers supervision services tailored to PMHNP-BCs who need expert advice and support. Whether you require assistance on an as-needed basis or prefer scheduled meetings, she provides valuable insights to help you manage difficult cases and hard-to-treat patients. This service, also known as case review, is available at $120 an hour.
With years of experience in leadership and mentoring, she has guided nurses, students, and nurse practitioners through various acuity settings, from inpatient involuntary to outpatient voluntary private practice. Having been an NP for over four years, a psychiatric nurse for over five, and working in mental health for over ten years, Bri truly understands the unique challenges you face and is here to support your professional growth and patient care expertise so that you can feel confident that you are meeting your patients’ needs in an empathetic and effective manner.
Legal Consulting
In addition to Bri’s psychiatric services and business consultations, she offer legal consulting services for attorneys in need of an expert witness. Her extensive experience in the psychiatric field and in-depth understanding of legal matters related to mental health make her an ideal consultant for your legal cases. She was once reported to the Bureau of Adult and Elderly Services under false pretenses after being a whistleblower for unsafe working conditions and has an immense passion for both cases involving providers (either defense or prosecution) as well as cases involving patient rights particularly with emergency involuntary admissions or personal injury. Whether you need expert testimony or detailed consultations, she is available to provide the support and insights you require at a to be determined rate on a case by case basis.
Patient Advocacy
Bri is proud to now be offering her services as a patient advocate to the community. Given her vast experience with business ownership, daily experiences with insurance, and 10+ years in the field, she is a strong advocate for those who are suffering and unable to navigate the mental health system. She may be able to assist with the following: insurance denials, gaslighting, finding appropriate care, or legal concerns. Bri’s specialty is psychiatry, but she may be able to help with some medical cases depending on what the request is and where it falls under her scope of practice.
It must be noted that this is a service that involves assistance with needs going unmet, but does not extend to Bri becoming your medication provider. Her passion is to help others receive the medications they need, the treatment they deserve, and not facing barriers to care that should not exist. Bri’s rate per hour is $150.
