What is RMH and how can your practice help me?

RMH is here to support individuals facing mental health challenges. Our services are designed for people dealing with a range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, autism, bipolar disorder, and more. We also welcome members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Our goal is to provide a compassionate and supportive environment for everyone. How do I schedule an appointment with RMH?

Can RMH assist with medication management?

Yes! This is our bread and butter. We offer medication management services to ensure your treatment plan is effective and tailored to your needs. Our team will work closely with you to monitor and adjust your medication as needed. Medication Management Services.

What types of therapy do you offer?

We currently do not offer therapy services. Our practice owner, Brianna Boulanger PMHNP-BC is a medication provider so she strives to hire nurse practitioners only in order to give as much guidance and support to her staff as possible in the same discipline. We highly support ALL of our patients going to therapy and are happy to refer you to our trusted partners such as True North Healing Center.

How do I know if I need therapy or medication?

It’s not uncommon to be unsure about whether therapy, medication, or a combination is right for you. Our team can help assess your needs and recommend the best approach. Therapy vs. Medication.

Are your services covered by insurance?

We accept many major insurance plans. However, coverage can vary, so we recommend checking with your provider to understand your benefits. Our team can also assist you in navigating insurance questions. Insurance details.

What should I expect during my first visit?

Your first visit is an opportunity for us to get to know you and understand your needs. We’ll discuss your concerns, psychiatric history, and what you’re hoping to achieve with medications and/or supplements. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and supported. If you have any specific questions, you can better prepare for your first visit by contacting us ahead of time.

What is TMS and how does it work?

TMS is short for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and it is a treatment where magnetic waves are sent through your brain to target specific areas. This can alleviate conditions that have not responded well to traditional medication management.

What type of TMS machine do you have?

We have a from Brainsway and are the only ones in the state to carry it. It is a special OCD helmet for more efficient and hollistic care. Turnaround times are shorter, treatment is more effective, and deeper parts of the brain can be reached.

Do you have telehealth appointments?

Do you provide neuropsychiatric testing?

No, but we use testing through at-home QBTech testing to support an ADHD diagnosis.

How soon can I expect to see results?

The timeline for seeing results varies from individual to individual. Some may notice changes quickly, while others may take longer. Consistency, openness, and tracking your symptoms are key factors in helping us help you.

Does RMH offer support for OCD?

Yes, we offer specialized support for individuals with OCD, using proven therapeutic techniques to help manage and reduce symptoms.

Do you test for ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)?

Yes we fully diagnose using at-home testing through QBTech. QBTech testing is not designed to take the place of a full neuropsychiatric evaluation by a psychologist, but it allows us to have you demonstrate your deficits in a way that provides enough objective data to pursue medications for you. 

What life stressors can RMH help with?

We can assist with a wide range of life stressors, including relationship issues, grief, work stress, and more. Our goal is to provide support and strategies to help you cope effectively. Patient Resources.

How do I prepare for my first appointment?

For your first appointment, bring any relevant medical records, a list of medications you are currently taking, and any questions you have. This information will help us provide the best care possible. Make sure you have completed all of your intake paperwork prior to coming in.

Can family members be involved in my treatment?
